I want to offer a heartfelt earnest welcome to you from the Greenville Church of the Brethren in Greenville, Ohio. We are a group of people with high and lofty aspirations. But that is because we worship and serve a great and Mighty God. It is our desire to operate under the most powerful and dynamic force in the world: Genuine love. We strive to be a group of believers united together by new birth in the Lord Jesus Christ for the purpose of edifying each other according to the Word of God and empowered by the Holy Spirit in order to effectively carry out God's work in the world. As pastor, it is my heart's desire to edify and equip believers for ministry by solidly grounding them in God's Word and its doctrines and principles through prayer, preaching, teaching, and discipleship. Our church heritage has come to emphasize servant hood. Jesus calls His followers not "to be served but to serve." (Matthew 20:28). By serving others we fulfill the Biblical ordinance Jesus gave in washing one another's feet.
