Pastor Rick Towe was called to preach in 1980. After going through ministerial training, he pastored, led worship and evangelized in Missouri and Kentucky. After moving to Point Pleasant, WV in 1989, he pastored 2 churches there for a total of 9 1/2 years, one of which he pioneered, then in July of 1998 he pioneered New Life Church of God here in Gallipolis, Ohio. God has used him in different phases of the ministry, including pastoring, teaching, evangelizing, and singing in 3 different Southern Gospel groups. He enjoys preaching the uncompromised message of the Gospel and using the singing ministry to prepare hearts for the Word! Pastor Towe Has seen God do miraculous things, and has been a part of winning many souls to the Lord!

His wife Ginny hails from Parkersburg, WV, where she is employed for the government in the Treasury Department. She also plays the piano and has a singing ministry, as well as being Children's Church director, and is editor of the church's monthly newsletter. Ginny is a great asset to Pastor Towe's ministry, and loves helping others in their walk with Christ.

Their children include Brian, who lives in Columbus, Ohio; Brad, who lives near Point Pleasant and is married to Charity, and they have 3 children...Blake, Josh & Kyleigh; and Wes still lives at home and works at Walmart In Gallipolis, Ohio.
