Why Choose the Episcopal Church
The Rt. Rev. John M. Krumm
John M. Krumm was not a cradle Episcopalian. His introduction to the Episcopal Church came at the age of 10, when a friend convinced him to join the choir at his church. There he discovered that going to church could be a “dramatic and awesome experience”. And he stayed, eventually becoming a priest and later serving as the Bishop of Southern Ohio from 1971 to 1980.
In this book he weaves facts and figures with marvelous stories about his experiences in the church. It is a love song to the church that meant so much to him.
He says in the introduction to the book "I am an Episcopalian ultimately because I believe that in this Church and Communion the great truth of Christianity is most adequately and fully set forth in balance and proportion and that through its life of worship and witness it makes possible the richest kind of fellowship God and with fellow man."
