St. Patrick's Episcopal Church - Lebanon Ohio

232 E. Main St., Lebanon, Ohio 45036 (513) 932-7691

There will be an usher and a greeter to greet you outside the door of the worship sanctuary.  They will give you a service bulletin and a printout of the service if you are new to the Episcopal Church.  They can also answer any questions you may have about nursery care, Sunday school, or any other logistics.

If you are new to the Episcopal church you do not need to know when to stand or kneel or sit.  No one will care if you get it wrong.  In fact, some of our members kneel when others stand anyway!  Sometimes it’s helpful to sit through your first service and simply take it in.  There are good reasons for our sitting and standing and kneeling.  The rector (priest/minister) will be happy to explain.  You can find a link to our liturgy, or order of service, in the Sunday Worship section of this website.  If you are adventurous, our bulletin will guide you through our Hymnal, Book of Common Prayer, and Bible readings during the service.  Feel free to just relax and enjoy the service your first few times with us also, it can take a while to get the hang of the book shuffling!

We receive Communion every Sunday.  This is God’s gift to us and all are welcome to receive.

After the early service there is a breakfast in the fellowship area known as Brigid House.  You are welcome to attend. After the late service there is a coffee hour. You are welcome to attend.  Some one will greet you and help you meet some people.  The priest is always available to speak with you if you so desire.  If you don’t want to attend breakfast or coffee hour but would like to have a follow up call from the priest or a member of the parish please leave your name and number in a book that is found in the main entrance.

Be assured that all questions are welcomed. There is no foolish question!
