Leader: Clap your hands in praise, all people;
People: shout joy to God!
Leader: How awesome is the Lord Most High,
for he is the great King over all the
earth!
People: He subdued nations under us,
peoples under our fee. He chose our
inheritance for us, the pride of Jacob,
whom he loved.
Leader: As we shout joy to God, he has
ascended.
People: In the midst of trumpet blasts, it has
become apparent: he is Lord!
Leader: For God is the King of all the earth.
People: Sing to him: sing praises, sing
praise, sing psalms and songs of
praise.
Leader: For God reigns, God is seated on his
holy throne, the kings of the earth
belong to God.

Righteous God, you have crowned Jesus Christ
as Lord of all. We confess that we do not always
bow before him and are slow to acknowledge his
rule. We give allegiance to the powers of this
world and fail to be governed by justice and love.
In your mercy, forgive us. Raise us to acclaim
him as ruler of all, that we may be loyal
ambassadors, obeying the commands of our
Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe in Jesus Christ, the Beloved of God.
We believe that in him we have redemption
through his blood, the forgiveness of our
sins.
We believe that God's purpose - to bring all
things in heaven and on earth together
under one head - is fulfilled in Jesus Christ
the King.
We believe that the power of God is
incomparably great, and is the mighty
strength that raised Christ from the dead;
that he has been seated at God's right hand in
the heavenly realms;
that he is far above all rule and authority, power
and dominion, and every title that can be
given, in this age and in the age to come;
that all things have been placed under his feet;
that he has been appointed head over everything
for the Church, which is his body.
We believe in Jesus Christ, the Beloved of God,
King of kings.
