Pastor Larry R. Rose

Larry was born in 1949 in Beaver Falls, Pa. to Bob and Mary Rose.  A 1967 graduate of Rochester, Pa. High School, Larry attended Geneva College and Beaver County Community College 1967-69.

Larry served in the U.S. Army and Pa. National Guard 1969-75, and married Marge Fields in August 1970.

Larry and his wife Marge received Christ as their Savior in August of 1980 shortly after moving to East Liverpool from Rochester, Pa.

From 1980 – 1984 the Rose’s actively attended Boyce United Methodist Church where they worked with the Youth Group and taught one of the Adult Sunday School classes.

From 1984 - 1988 the Rose’s lived in Georgia.  During those four years Larry attended Luther Rice Bible College and Seminary majoring in Biblical Studies.  That education helped equip Larry to answer God’s call to the pulpit of Northside Community Church in March 1988.

For the first 15 years of Ministry Larry also worked outside the Church as a Safety Manager retiring in February 2003 after 30 years in the field of Safety Management.

God’s calling on his life and Larry’s love for people are still strong in his heart.

In addition to his love for reading and studying, Larry enjoys spending time with family and friends. People and the ministry are his passion.

Larry and Marge have three adult daughters; Mrs. Ken (Denise) Karmie, Yvonne Rose, and Mrs. Mike (Jennifer) Dotson and 9 grandchildren.
