The cross-topped steeple of Zion Lutheran Church has shown over High Street
in downtown Akron for over 150 years as a witness to the saving Gospel of Jesus
Christ. A lot has changed in downtown Akron over those years. But
our desire to hold up the light of Jesus Christ in the heart of the city has not
changed. By the power of the Holy Spirit, we continue to draw people to
Christ through traditional worship and joyous praise, through a caring community that is open to all. We invite you to
