Music Ministry

Praise the Lord in his sanctuary
Praise Him in the firmament of his strength
Praise him for his mighty deeds
Praise him for his sovereign majesty
Praise him with the blast of the trumpet
Praise him with lyre and harp
Praise him with timbrel and dance
Praise him with strings and pipe
Praise him with sounding cymbals
Praise him with clanging cymbals

LET EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH
PRAISE THE LORD! ALLELUIA

Psalm 150

Rex Roseman - Music Director

Zion's Praise Chorus meets Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. and Sundays at 10:15 a.m. in the Sanctuary. This group, made up of members of all ages, is interested in giving praise to our LORD through contemporary music. Praise Chorus uses many instruments to aid in worship. Currently, the Chorus has a guitarist, flutist, bass guitarist, and keyboardist. (We are in need of a drummer.) The group's repertoire is Contemporary Music from Praise and Worship. Praise Chorus offers a great atmosphere to sing Praise to our Lord through up-beat music.

Zion's Sanctuary Choir meets Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. The Sanctuary Choir is interested in giving praise to our LORD through music that is generally written in parts. This dedicated group includes life long members and new members. The Sanctuary Choir sings a wide repertoire of music from J.S. Bach to Hal Hopson. The choir also performs a wide variety of musical styles including European, Early American, and Modern.

Zion's Pipe Organ can be dated from 1938. This 3 manual and approximately 20 rank organ was built by the Hilgreen and Lane Company with some major additions and restorations taking place in 1978. It truly praises our GOD with the "pipe!"
Come and worship with us.
