Big Walnut Friends Who Share
New clients are arriving at BWFWS at the rate of 3 to 5 families a week! It is getting tougher for low-income familes to make ends meet.
BWFWS always needs items that cannot be purchased with "Food Stamps," such as:
Diapers, Toilet Paper, Facial Tissues, Tooth Paste, Bath Soap,
Shampoo, Laundry Detergent & Fabric Softener, Dish Detergent,
Bleach, Cleaning Supplies, Personal Products & Toiletries
Bring the items to Condit Church and we will see they get to the BWFWS Center.
Remember that the Big Walnut Friends Who Share Center
takes donations of gently used household appliances, home furnishings,
clothing and bedding ( Please, No mattresses! No broken appliances either! )
BWFWS always welcomes Volunteers to help move and sort donated items
in the BWFWS Center at the intersection of High & Walnut Streets & Hartford Road,
on the eastern edge of Sunbury.
Volunteer work hours are:
Mondays 9:00am--11:30am;
2nd & 4th Tuesdays 6:30pm--8:00pm;
Wednesdays 9:00am--11:30am;
Second Saturdays 10:00am--Noon.
