On April 7, our congregation hosted Soul'd Out, a Southern Gospel quartet, for a great concert at our church. You can see a couple of videos from the evening below:

Christian Education is an important part of spiritual formation in our congregation. We offer educational opportunities for children of all ages as well as for adults. Both children's and adult educational sessions start at 9:15 Sunday mornings and run for one hour.

Whether adult or youth offerings, there is no "start time" that you have to wait for to have the sessions make sense - you can jump in at any time. We hope you'll join us!

Frankfort Presbyterian Church is a caring community of believers committed to living out the call to discipleship in Jesus Christ, and to bringing the love of Christ to the community. We seek to continue growing in our faith, and in our understanding of God�s will for us � as individuals, as a church, and as part of the worldwide community of believers.

Sharing in the Journey

Life in Christ isn�t just a matter of going to church on Sunday morning. It affects, and informs, how we live our lives day to day. The Christian faith can't truly be lived out as disconnected individuals. We are called to be in relationship with each other, supportive and accountable to each other as we try to become even better followers of Jesus Christ. And we can't do this by only looking to ourselves. We are called to be the face, heart, hands and feet of Christ in this world - serving and ministering to others in physical and spiritual need, as a reflection of our love for God.�

Songfest!

March 3, our congregation hosted a gathering of individuals and groups from at least 6 different area congregations, and it was a fantastic time of fellowship, friendship, and enjoying our shared faith across denominational and traditional lines. The music was very diverse - including wonderful vocalists, and instrumental pieces on guitar, violin, piano, harmonica, and hammered dulcimer. We wish we had more video to share of this great time, and we're sorry for the poor video quality of the two clips below - the autofocus on the supposedly-smart-phone seems to have taken the night off - but even at that, we think you'll enjoy these two brief samples of the evening. In these clips, Wendell Pettiford and Don Valentine of the Second Baptist Church offer some great music, including the grand finale of the evening with everyone in attendance joining in.
