YOUTH ACTIVTIES |
COME WITH US TO CHRIST: We meet together most Sunday afternoons at 5:00 p.m. in the Youth Room. ************************************************************************************************ As I write this we are preparing for the youth and family cook-out and camp-out. I am cooking chili and cutting onions for tonight's chili dogs, mixing the dry ingredients for tomorrows dutch oven sausage ring, and preparing games and skits to keep us entertained whether it rains or not. We have reserved a spot in the group camping area with a large shelter house just in case it rains. Rain or shine, we will have a great time. I want to thank everyone who has signed up to help with the Halloween carnival and the Trunk or Treat. We could not have participated in these two activities without your help and support. Thank you. Albright's children and Ponca City's children thank you too. We are looking forward to our first Fun Friday Fall Festival on October 29th and plan on having a great time playing games in costumes. The youth Halloween party is October 30th and is always a lot of fun. The youth have asked to have another scavenger hunt and I'm working on getting that part together. November and December Youth Activities: November 7 – Ettiquette Class 4-6 p.m. taught by Julie Brown and Timilyn Crank November 12 – Fun Friday 6-8 p.m. Elementary children 6-11 p.m. Youth November 14 – Youth Game Night 5 p.m. November 21 – Youth Mission Night 5 p.m. November 28 – No Youth. Thanksgiving weekend December 5 – Youth Annual Mission Project December 12 – Youth Christmas Party with a dirty Santa gift exchange ($10.00 limit) Future Dates to put on your calendar now: January 23rd – Group youth meeting at Asbury UMC 5 p.m. February 4-6 – Stillwater District Mid-Winter at Camp Egan March 26th – Local Church Leaders Workshop Dates TBA: Chili Cook Off – (January or February) Taco Dinner – (April or May) Stillwater District Camp - (I will get you that date as soon as I have it) |
