Family and Children Ministries
Because of our desire to share God’s love with all people, we have ministries for all ages. These ministries include regular nursing home visitations, food and gift collections for the needy, children’s vacation Bible school, community prayer services and various youth-centered activities, including open house hours at our youth center.
Our outreach includes the support of a number of local missions, including the Karns City Pregnancy Support Center, the community food pantry and the Light of Life Rescue Mission. The congregation helps to support a missionary family, the Damascenos, ministering in England, and we serve as an area drop-off location for Operation Christmas Child, a world-wide mission that supplies Christmas-gift filled shoeboxes to children all over the globe. The congregation alone donated over 100 shoeboxes in 2010 (pic

We feel that a priority for the church should be to introduce people to Jesus Christ and then to help them grow closer to him in daily living.
We do that in a number of ways, beginning with solid, biblically based preaching at each worship service. We build off that by offering traditional Sunday school for all ages, a mid-week Bible study for adults each week and home-based small groups.
