Fellowship Group
This month the Fellowship Group will be having lunch at Sam’s Café on Nov 24 at 11:30 am.
Pottstown Cluster Outreach
Please bring to church on Communion Sunday your canned meats, soups, vegetables, beans, packaged foods, pasta, cake mix, cereal to be donated to Cluster Outreach. Our food donations will be matched pound for pound. During the first half of 2009, January thru June, PBC has donated 230 pounds of food to the Cluster Outreach!
Pastoral Search Update
The Pastoral Search Committee continues to meet and we are encouraged by the progress we are making. We are now scheduling interviews with prospective Candidates.
Doug Kutz, Search committee chair, Nancy Ogden-Taylor, Amanda Shaner, Jason Denninger, Chan Hood, and Phyllis Shaner.
Young Adult Group
The group will not meet on Nov 25th. Starting on Nov 11th, the group will begin discussing the book “The Naked Gospel:. The Truth You May Never Hear in Church" by Andrew Farley. For more information, contact Tracy Denninger at tm_croft@hotmail.com or 610-310-1338.
Friendly’s Fundraiser
There will be another Friendly's Fundraiser Night on Wednesday, November 18 from 4pm to 9pm at the Friendly's located in Pottstown on Route 100 across from the Wal-mart Shopping Center. Visit Friendly’s that night and 10% of your total bill will be donated to Pughtown Baptist Church.
The First Baptist Church of Norristown
Covets your prayers and welcomes your presence at the installation of The Reverend Kelly Legg as Pastor. The service will be held on Sunday, November 15 at 3:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Norristown, 445 Burnside Ave, Norristown. A reception will immediately follow the worship service.
Thanksgiving Eve Service
Begins at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, November 25 Coventryville United Methodist Church is hosting a Thanksgiving Eve Service. The Rev. Peter Detterline will be preaching. Music will be offered by the combined choirs of Coventryville UMC and St. Peters UCC.
Harvest Home
Join us for our annual Harvest Home celebration and dinner together on November 22, 2009 following the worship service.
Showers of Blessings
Virginia MacNeill's baby, Randy Jr, has arrived
The ladies of Pughtown held a surprise baby shower for Virginia MacNeill. We celebrate with Randy and Virginia as they welcomed their son, Randy Jr. into the world on November 4, 2009. He weighed 9 pounds 2 ounces and is 22” long. Mother and baby are doing very well.
New granddaughter for the Denningers
Mia Sara Soto came into the world on October 17, 2009. She weighed 7lbs l3oz and 20 inches long and is doing well!
Youth News
The Youth will be getting together at Pughtown Baptist Church for a movie night on November 21. This is a combined event with Exton Baptist, and times are not yet set. Please see Josh Seib for more formation: 570-401-6780 or seibja@gmail.com.

Marie Wisor sang the Star Spangled Banner at the District Field Hockey Match at OJR school and did a great job! Her granddaughter, Kelly was playing as a senior in the game.
Ladies Christmas Party
