Vespers
is the ancient evening prayer of the Church.
This Liturgy of the
Word consists of the singing of psalms, the reading of scripture, and
the petitions of the faithful. The traditional use of Gregorian Chant
compliments this meditative and inspirational liturgy.

All are welcome to join the parish and AIHM communities in this ancient complement to Eucharistic worship.
Join
us every third Friday of the Month for an evening of contemplative
prayer and Eucharist. We will begin with Psalms and Readings from the
Liturgy of the Hours followed by a period of contemplative prayer in the Carmelite tradition and
Eucharist. All are welcome to come and experience this form
of prayer.
