Christmas Memories to Warm the Winter's Cold!

I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all people.
Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you. -Luke 2:10-11

On December 24, St. Mary of Grace parish joyfully celebrated Christmas with 10pm Matins and Mass. After Mass we had shared Christmas cookies, laughter, and joy!

Bowling, Snazzy Shoes, Friendship, and Laughter!

On Saturday, November 6, St. Mary of Grace Parish went to Sproul Bowling Lanes. We put on some truly snazzy bowling shoes, attempted to hurl hot pink bowling balls in the general direction of the pins, laughed a lot, and had a truly wonderful time. Karen even tried to talk them into letting us use one of the "bowling dragons" to get the bowling balls going in the right direction. Afterwards we finished off the day with chili dogs and ice cream at Dairy Queen.

Thank you to all who attended and especially to Karen for organizing this fun event for the parish!

Shoes! Peggy in her regular shoes, while Karen and Lyngine mix it up! We just had to compare all the shoes side by side.

November Social Justice: Box Lunch Project

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the November Box Lunch Project!

Many children rely on school lunch as one of their main meals and during the Thanksgiving break would usually go without. Over the past few weeks our small parish has been collecting non-perishable food. These items will be included in box lunches to be given to children in the New Jersey school system over their break when school is out in the coming weeks. Thank you to all who helped provide lunches!

Summer Memories!

On Saturday, July 31, St. Mary of Grace Parish celebrated the summer with a parish BBQ and potluck at Fr. Joseph's friary. Young and old, regular members and friends, all were on hand to share in celebrating the joys of summer.

Hanging out and enjoying each others company AND the wonders of air conditioning!

"Fr. Joseph, I'm hungry. Are those burgers done yet? Maybe I can help!"

Time to eat! (This was just the beginning. By the time we brought out everyone's dishes the table was full!)

Happy 6th Anniversary St. Mary of Grace Parish!
Happy 5th Anniversary, Father Joseph!
God grant many, many years!

Five years ago, Friar Joseph Michael Augustine Menna, was ordained as a priest in service to God and God's people. Six years ago, St. Mary of Grace parish was founded and held its first public service.

With gratitude and joy, we marked this special day with Mass at St. Mary of Grace Parish followed by a celebratory lunch. Friends, family, parishioners, and members of the AIHM were all on hand to share in celebrating this day.

Christ is risen! Indeed He is risen!

Alleluia!

On April 3, St. Mary of Grace parish joyfully celebrated Easter Vigil with the lighting of the Paschal candle, blessing of the waters, chanting the Exultet, readings from Scripture, and Eucharist. We were joined by friends old and new as we rejoiced in Christ's resurrection. Afterwards, we broke our Lenten fast and shared treats and chocolate!

Happy Easter from St. Mary of Grace!
