Welcome to the newest member of the Body of Christ !

On December 27, on the Feast of the Holy Family, Bp. Timothy baptized a new member into the Body of Christ and the Communion of Saints. Aleksei was welcomed into the Church and our parish family. Aleksei's mothers (Mary Kay and Chris) , his God parents, their extended family, and the parish shared in the celebration and the commitment to help Aleksei grow in love and light in the Christian faith. We were all so happy to celebrate this new life in the Church with Aleksei, his mothers, God parents, and family. After the baptism, Mary Kay and Chris invited the parish to their home for refreshments, dinner, and to continue the celebration with their family.

God Grant Aleksei many happy, healthy, and blessed years!

On December 24, St. Mary of Grace parish joyfully celebrated Christmas with 10pm Matins and Mass.
We were joined by friends old and new as we welcomed Christ born among us. Peace, Blessings, and a Merry Christmas to all!

Ice and Snow bless the Lord!!!!

On December 20, a few hardy folk braved the record snow totals and freezing temperatures for our 4th week of Advent Mass and an early Christmas parish dinner. After Mass, Karen surprised the parish with a wonderful chocolate pie that we just had to eat before dinner. Then we headed over to a local restaurant to celebrate with an early Christmas dinner together before travel plans took folks to different parts of the country.

Enjoying chocolate pie after Mass and before dinner thanks to Karen's wonderful cooking! That's Fr. Joseph in the back with the can of whipped cream that Karen brought too!
