Sunday, November 1: Solemnity of All Saints Sunday, November 1 we will celebrate the Solemnity of All Saints with a
Solemn Mass. Our custom is to remember our
beloved deceased for the month of November, Month of All Souls. A book
of remembrance will be available to add names to be remembered at all
Parish Masses for November. You may also e-mail Fr. Joseph (jmennaaihm@aol.com) the names of your
beloved who have passed to life eternal to be placed in the book. We
gather our prayers with those of our Augustinian brother, St. Nicholas
of Tolentine, patron of the souls in purgatory.
We will end November with the last Sunday of the month celebrating
Christ The King, with Adoration and Benediction of the Blessed
Sacrament after Mass.
Saturday, October 31: Fall Parish Social Please join us on Saturday, October 31, for our annual Fall social. We will take a road trip to Shady Maple Restaurant/Buffet near
Morgantown, PA. The drive up is spectacular with the changing color of
the trees, and the food at Shady Maple's is delicious!
We plan to meet
at 2pm and leave together in a few cars (carpooling) from: Unitarian Universalist Church of Delaware County in
Media 145 W. Rose Tree Road, Media, PA 19063 Please click here for map and directions
It is about an hour's drive. We should be back to Media
by around 6-6:30PM. Some parishioners are also thinking about a haunted hay
ride at a nearby farm In Middletown off Rt 352 after we return.

Sunday, October 11: St. Mary of Grace at Outfest 2009

On Sunday, October 11 we will be hosting a booth at Outfest 2009
in Philadelphia from 12noon-4pm.
Stop by, say hello, and learn more about St. Mary of Grace Independent

Sunday, September 20: Ordination of Sandra Hutchinson to the order of Acolyte

God." -Bishop's charge to the Acolyte Please join us on September 20 at the regular Sunday Mass of St. Mary of Grace, when Bishop Timothy will ordain Sandra Hutchinson, a seminarian of the Independent Catholic Christian Church, to the minor Order of Acolyte. The Independent Catholic Christian Church ordains men and women, gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and heterosexual Christians as bishops, priests, and deacons.
Please keep Sandra in your prayers as she takes this next step in the journey towards priesthood.

We invite you to join us on September 18: 3rd Friday Contemplative Evening Prayer
On Friday, September 18, 7:30 pm will be the monthly Contemplative Vespers
(Evening Prayer) with Eucharist. This is hosted by Br. Robert Julian,
HMC who will lead a reflection on Carmelite spirituality. This is a
wonderful meditative way to end the week. Contemplative Vespers is held
in University City in the Chapel of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel at 4830 Osage Ave.

Saturday, March 21: Spring Parish Community Social
"O all ye things that spring up from the earth, bless the Lord."As
the warm weather begins, the St. Mary of Grace parish community is
having its Spring Social. This Saturday, March 21 we will be gathering
at Longwood Gardens to enjoy the flowers and gardens in bloom. This will also be one of the last chances to catch the Orchid Extravaganza there.We will gather at 12noon at the Visitor's Center at Longwood Gardens. Tickets are $16/person.
