Our pastoral care ministry is carried out by the Pastoral Care Team, Class Shepherds, and the Deacons. Class Shepherds care for those in in their respective Sunday School classes. The Deaconing Ministry provides for the care of our senior members. The Pastoral Care Team is made up of the pastors and the pastoral visitors. They do the hospital and general visitation.

Education Program
- Twelve classes for children through grade 8
- Mennonite Youth Fellowship (MYF) Sunday School program for grades 9 -12
- Two young adult classes
- Nine adult classes grouped by age
- Sermon Interaction Class which is inter generational
- Elective classes are offered on an ongoing basis to provide opportunity for choice of study.

- Summer Bible School for children through grade 8
- Boys' Club for boys in grades 3 - 5
- Girls' Club for girls in grades 3 - 5 (meet once a month)
- Junior MYF for grades 6, 7, and 8 (meet monthly for fellowship)
- MYF for senior high youth (meet regularly for fun, fellowship, service, and study)
- Small Groups (meet for study, fellowship, and service)
- Prayer Time (meets each Sunday morning before worship service)
- Sewing Circle (meets the first Wednesday of each month)
- Blood Donor Program in cooperation with The Red Cross

- Hospitality Ministry which arranges for:
- Sunday morning greeters for worship service
- Host families each Sunday
- Department of Music which includes:
- Adult choir
- Childrens Choir
- Sanctuary Decorating Committee
- Department of Stewardship providing leadership in finances and stewardship education
- Church Library with over 4500 volumes, video and audio tapes (open each Sunday after the Sunday School hour)
- Church Fellowship Hall and Kitchen available for use by the various organizations of the church and for activities sponsored or promoted by the church as well as for use by members.
- Social Hostess Committee provides food preparation and service for the organizations and fellowship events of the church as well as meals following funerals as needed.
- Trustees take care of the church property
- Grounds Committee and Cemetary Committee maintain the church grounds
Many persons in the congregation serve also on committees of the Franconia Mennonite Conference of which Blooming Glen Mennonite Church is a member.
