Jim Ostlund began serving as the Associate Pastor focused on Youth and Young Adults at Blooming Glen Mennonite Church on April 1, 2008. Jim and his wife Jodi are native Kansans, and are soon to be first-time parents. Jim graduated from Bethel College in Newton, Kansas with a degree in music, and just recently completed a Masters of Arts in Youth, Family, Culture at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California. He served as a pastor in Kansas prior to coming to Blooming Glen Mennonite Church. He brings specialized training for youth and family ministry and previous experience as a member of a multiple-staff large congregation. Jim describes his mission as, “Helping the congregation make disciples of Jesus Christ and equipping them to function as full members of the Body.”
