We are offering several exciting ideas for Christian fellowship throughout the week. These are activity based small groups that bring people together for interesting conversation and support.
Walking Group/Jane
Eanes: a weekly group that will meet to walk several miles, enjoying the
outdoors while building relationships.
Supper Club/Paul
and Brenda Johnson: a group that will meet once every three weeks to share a
meal and conversation.
Supper Club:/Marty
Savanick and Gloria Miller: a group that will meet (time to be determined) to
share a meal and conversation.
Rug Hooking/Laura
Ann King: a group that will meet to learn the basics of rug hooking while
enjoying one another’s company.
Motorcycle Gang Saturday, October 25/Sunday, October 26: Dave Meyercheck: One
weekend only. Motorcyclists meet at the
church to ride together to Somerset, where they will participate in the safety
course that Dave teaches.
Wednesday Soup Chefs/ Donna Mast, Deb Haddad, Jane Eanes: This group will be meeting to
plan and prepare the Wednesday evening soup offerings.
Wednesday Soup Supper: Persons coming to eat the soup do not need to sign
up, just show up!
Wednesday Evening Bible Study (following Soup Supper)/Dan Hertzler: Dan will be
leading an inductive Bible study on the minor prophets. This is the same material
he uses on Sunday mornings for Sunday school.
Elbow Grease Group: participants will spend the day working together on a service
project, providing assistance to others while they build relationships. (day
and project to be determined.)
Friday morning Bible Study/Kim Coffman: an on-going group of women that has been
meeting on Friday mornings in the East Fellowship Hall.
Men’s Prayer Breakfast/Danny Lint: the second Saturday of every month from
7:30-9:30 a.m., in the East Fellowship Hall. No need to sign up. Just come.
Mennonite Women/Ilse
Reist: The first Thursday of every month. Come in the morning to work on projects and share with other women. Stay for a carry-in lunch.
Positive Futures/Russ and Jane Eanes This is an
on-going group that meets during the Sunday school period on Sunday mornings.
