Jesus was concerned about the "whole" person - body, spirit and soul.
He showed this by not only healing those with physical illness but by his ultimate sacrifice on the cross, paving the way for spiritual forgiveness and a renewed relationship with God, the Father.

The Care Ministries at FPC are designed to accomplish much the same in their attempt to minister to the "whole" person. Whether it is a need for physical or emotional healing, a word of encouragement or visit during a stay in the hospital, the members of these ministries are here for you. Perhaps you are in need of food, have lost your job and are looking for work, or most importantly, you need someone to help you understand what to do with your deep spiritual longings and questions of the heart. Someone from one of these teams will be there to help.

Board of Deacons Ministry - The office of Deacon, as set forth in Scripture, is one of sympathy, witness and service after the example of Jesus Christ. GriefShare Ministry - If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand your journey of grief. That’s the reason for GriefShare, a class and support group for people grieving the loss of someone close.  GriefShare features excellent biblical teaching (on video) on grief and recovery topics. < I'd like to Learn More >

Visitation Ministry - Whether it is the need for a visit in the hospital, a time of prayer, a word of encouragement, or the need for special, private communion,  this team is prepared to meet your needs.
