"Come unto Me, all you that labor and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28
Jesus was concerned about the "whole" person - body, spirit and soul.
He showed this by not only healing those with physical illness but by his ultimate sacrifice on the cross, paving the way for spiritual forgiveness and a renewed relationship with God, the Father.
The Care Ministries at FPC are designed to accomplish much the same in their attempt to minister to the "whole" person. Whether it is a need for physical or emotional healing, a word of encouragement or visit during a stay in the hospital, the members of these ministries are here for you. Perhaps you are in need of food, have lost your job and are looking for work, or most importantly, you need someone to help you understand what to do with your deep spiritual longings and questions of the heart. Someone from one of these teams will be there to help.

It is the duty of deacons to minister to those within and without the community of believers, first to those in need, to the sick, the friendless and to anyone in distress. < I'd like to Learn More >
