A relational ministry to men.

For each one of us there is no decision more important than to decide to be proactive in working on our relationship with God. And for a man, I believe there is no better way to realize this relationship than in a small group of men who have decided to do the same thing--to get serious about their faith and discover the joy and fulfillment of life in Christ. I invite you to join me in making that decision. ~ Alex
Monday Morning Group
January 9 - April 16, 7:15 - 8:30 am
Giannotti's Wyomissing (back room)
After our Fall study about God the Holy Spirit, we will read and discuss The Book of Acts. This book is a sequel to the Gospel of Luke, and as we study and discuss it we will learn more about the Holy Spirit and the work and purpose of the Church. We will begin to see and understand how our God desires to use us to be HIs voice, His hands, His feet, and in fact our very lives to carry out His plan for this life on Earth until he comes again.
Wednesday After Work Group
January 4 - February 25, 5:15 - 6:45 pm
Priority One Office, 521 Elm Street, Reading
This will be an eight week discussion and study group. We will use the four Gospels to hear Jesus speak to us about His plan for our lives here on planet earth. If you are like me, you want to know "what's the deal". Questions like: How can I become the man He created me to be? How can I follow Him when, quite frankly, I have too many other things going on to live each day? The Bible says, God created me to do good works that He actually created me especially to do--so how do I find out what they are? How do I know God loves me? and How do I know I am going to go to Heaven?
Friday Morning Group

Other Men's Groups:
We do some other men's groups which after discussion might be an option for you if the Monday, Wednesday or Friday groups do not work. Call or email me to discuss.
One-on-One
Would you just like to meet one on one and talk about spiritual things? I really enjoy the opportunity to do just that as it is far and away my favorite subject of conversation. Arranging a time and place is just a phone call away, as I am very flexible and look forward to your calls! --Alex
Want to Start Your Own Men's Small Group?
I would be happy to help you do just that and help you as long as needed. Pray about this! There are guys everywhere who are just waiting to have someone invite them to learn and discuss spiritual things -- call or email me anytime.
One Day Prayer Retreat at the Jesuit Center, Wernersville

Other Activities
Priority One Berks County will be doing other miscellaneous activities that you might be interested in (ie: bicycle rides, motorcycle rides, weekend spiritual retreats, conferences, dinner with wives, etc.) Please email or call our office with your interest. We will post these on our website at priorityone.org.
Volunteer Opportunities
P1F Berks County is involved with several small ministries in our community and they are always looking for volunteer help! This can be as short as an hour or as long as full-time and it will be BIG time fun and a huge help to these programs. Please call our office and we can get together and discuss all of these opportunities in more detail!
Ministry Needs
We are looking for donations of: Men's bicycles for Freedom Gate; two sets of bunk beds for Freedom Gate; a good, working reliable car for both Freedom Gate and Bridge of Hope. UPDATE: We just had a very generous gift of a Toyota Camry, which was given to Freedom Gate.
