Each year, Holmes Church hosts an Ecumenical Tea. Ladies from many of our community churches are invited to join us for a lovely time of fellowship while we sit back, relax and enjoy our tea, tea sandwiches, tea cookies and a wonderful program.

In 2007, we had a very special and unique program entitled: "Seven Quilts for Seven Sisters." This program dealt with the importance of quilting for slave women in the 19th century America. Their program "A Stitch in Time", with their family stories and songs were marvelous. We were pleased to host 125 women from atleast 32 churches!
