Mission Circle will meet at 2:00PM on the 2nd Saturday of March, May, June,
September and November . Everyone is
welcome!
MISSION TRIP -
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
On
Saturday, June 7th, 12 volunteers will travel to Washington County to help
Habitat for Humanity build homes. A
sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board - you must be at least 16 years old.
Skill level is not as important and the desire to spend a day working to
give hope to someone in need. If you
have questions about this project, see Pastor Stu or Nancy.
MISSION CIRCLE COLLECTING ITEMS
At the
May 10th meeting the Mission Circle initiated several projects.
HEALTH KITS:
Each kit
is to consist of: 1 hand towel, 1 wash cloth, 1 comb, 1 metal file or nail
clipper, 1 bar of soap, 1 toothbrush, 1 tube of toothpaste (4-7 ounces) and 6
band aids. All items are to be
sealed in a one gallon plastic bag with a zipper closure.
Those wishing to contribute can make up an entire health kit, donate
individual items for the kits or donate money for the purchase of needed items.
ITEMS FOR SOLDIERS:
Suggested
items for soldiers in Iraq are meat snacks, mints, gum, batteries (any size),
small magazines and letters (doesn’t cost anything.
