INDEPENDENCE DAY - SERVICE ON THE LAWN

We will be hosting our 6th annual independence service on the lawn in celebration of our nation's independence on Friday, July 3rd at 7:00 pm.  The service will feature the Kiski Valley Community Band, a presentation (with flags) on John Paul Jones and his naval engagement off of Great Britain during the Revolutionary War and FREE hot dogs and hamburgers in good 4th of July fashion served through the generosity of the Deacons.  Bring a lawn chair and share in this patriotic experience!

A National Prayer

We welcome all visitors with understanding friendship and warmth. We wish to share the love of Jesus Christ with all those who feel the emptiness of a lost life, who feel the need to come to a place of reverence and compassion, who feel the need to escape the curses of a world out of control and instead want to recognize and enjoy the blessings from a merciful God.

We pray we can make welcome all peoples of varied backgrounds and cultures.

  • Our servies have been described as:
  • Friendly and warm
  • Both contemporary and traditional-music based
  • Christ focused
  • Childrens'  Sermon

OUR WORSHIP SERVICES:

NHPC offers the congregation and guests three worship times and three different worship experiences.

  • Thefirst worship service of the week occurs on Thursday night at 7 PM in the Fellowship Hall. This 45-minute service is an informal, come as you are, service without music.
  • Our second service of the week occurs on Sunday at 8:45 AM. This service is held in the sanctuary and begins with music from our Praise Band and Praise Vocalists. The one-hour service continues at 9:00 AM with the children’s message, Scripture readings, message for the day, offering and praise song, and charge and benediction.
  • The third service of the week is the traditional service, which begins at 11:00 AM. This one-hour service features both traditional and some contemporary music, the Chancel Choir, the children’s message, children’s church, the reading and preaching of the Word, and often the singing of Vibrant Voices.
  • We invite you to attend and try out all services and find the one or ones that best suits your tastes and style of worship.
