Kids for Christ Children's Ministry

We want to shepherd children and their families to know and love the Lord Jesus as Savior, to grow in Christ-like character, and to learn to serve with their gifts and good works in His Kingdom. We accomplish our vision through teaching the Bible, training and encouraging the children in worshiping Jesus Christ, gently challenging them in their walk with the Lord, and by providing opportunities for involvement in service to others.

Child-targeted - We target our ministry to reach children at their developmental abilities and interests.

Relational - We relate and not just inform. We want to mentor children through transparent lives, Christ-like character, and loving relationship.

Empowering - We disciple children to minister fully in the church body. We believe God speaks both to them and through them.

Partnering - We encourage and mentor parents to fulfill their God-given authority and responsibility as shepherds of their children. Committed to Quality - We give children our best. We prepare faithfully and commit to excellent training and development.

Safe - We implement procedures to ensure physical and emotional safety of our children.

Fun! - We want the church to be one of their favorite places.

Nursery is provided for newborns through three year olds.

Our goal is to develop a relationship with the children and their parents. We offer a warm, loving place for the children. We pray for each child as we hold them or play with them. A system is in place if we need to contact the parent during the service. Nursery is offered during the Sunday School hour.
