Education is an integral part of a Christian's life. Learning about what God expects of us, and the example that Jesus presented to us not only helps us grow in knowledge, but it helps us grow spiritually. Although we will never understand the full extent of the Glory of Jesus Christ, education provides us with the opportunity to strive to be the Christians that God has planned for us to become.

To further extend this education, we seek to apply these lessons to life, in Ministry, Outreach & Mission. There are endless possibilities of servanthood in each of these areas, allowing us to grow further still in heart, mind & spirit, and to live our lives for the Lord.

We as a church offer many areas of Christian Education for all age groups.

 SUNDAY SCHOOL IS IN SESSION!!!

Sunday Morning Church School at DFUMC is held from 10:45am until 11:45am. Youth from Pre-K through grade 12 learn God's word & lessons, with the help of volunteer adult members of our congregation.

The entire Sunday School is currently receiving this education through the use of  FAITHWEAVER  a 3 year curriculum that follows the Lectionary.

Age appropriate activities, from games and crafts to cooking class and servanthood, are creatively incorporated and enthusiastically received!
