During the Lenten season of  2009, after prayerful consideration, The Worship Committee voted to create a prayer room. This was to be a space for meditation, where one would be able to reflect, pray and visit with our Lord.

Our old church office which was being used for storage, was the ideal choice. This would be a wonderful way to make purposeful use of space in our church that was not serving the congregation, or God.

Once the idea was brought to the table, the Holy Spirit laid His hands apon us, and the creative ways we could encourage prayer flowed forth with passion for Christ and with the Grace of God!

The now finished prayer room is a comfortable room with chairs for sitting, and cushions for those who wish to meditate or pray on the floor. There are several forms of prayer suggested through miniature "prayer centers" such as stones, flowing water & laberynths. There is a prayer journal, and a cd player with several types of mediation and worship music to listen to.

Our prayer room is a comfortable place where you can be yourself with God.

When you walk in through our fronts door, make your first right and walk right into our prayer room.
