DFUMC is no exception.
From the moment someone walks through our door, we sincerely hope they feel the presence of Christ .
When we greet someone who walks through our doors, and when we shake their hand, we are offering Christ's Love. We are giving that person the comfort of knowing that they are accepted by Christ and that they are free to receive God's Grace.
During the same service, our greeters also serve by sending the offering plate out into the congregation. Ushering during the offering gives those servants the opportunity to facilitate the giving of others. This is a remarkable gift!
