Some Information for Our Guests
We would love to welcome you to a Sunday service. Here are some things to know that might be helpful to a first-time visitor.
- Our worship service starts at 10:30 a.m.
- We offer Sunday School for kids and multiple classes for adults at 9:30; check the link or call to see what the adult classes are studying at this time.
- You will be welcome and comfortable at our services in jeans or in a suit and tie. Come as you like!
- Music is an important part of worship. Some of our music is traditional in nature, with an organ. Some is contemporary, with guitars. We believe that we can worship God with diverse styles.
- Some things we do on a Sunday morning--greet one another, sing a few hymns, hear the choir, pray for our needs and for the world, have a children's message, give an offering, and hear a relevant message that connects God's timeless word with your life.
- Children are always welcome. We believe crying babies bring life to a church.
- We offer a nursery if you're more comfortable with that than having an infant in the sanctuary--it's up to you.
- Through the school year, kids begin the service in the sanctuary, and after the children's time, are invited downstairs for some fun learning, worship, and crafts.
We hope you feel welcome to join us. If you have further questions before your first Sunday with us, please call the church office at 814-443-2906, and ask to speak to Pastor Eric.
