What is a United Methodist?
In the words of John Wesley (1703-1791), an ordained priest of the Church of England and principal organizer of the people called Methodists, "A Methodist is one who loves the Lord his God with all his heart, with all his soul, and with all his mind, and with all his strength, and his neighbor as himself."
What's the music like?
We have been gifted at Trinity with a wide variety of music. There are choirs for all ages as well as a Praise Team and Hand Bell Choir. We sing traditional hymns from The Untied Methodist Hymnal, as well as many contemporary songs using our PowerPoint System. There is also special music throughout the year. Heavenbound, a local Christian band, is with us every 4th Sunday.
What should I wear?
We come to worship in everything from suits to blue jeans. We believe the attention should be less on what a person wears, than on the God who we're here to worship. Dress in what's comfortable for you.
Is a nursery provided?
There is a nursery available during our worship service. The nursery is equipped with a pager system that will notify the parents if the child is in need of something. This keeps the nursery attendant and the parents connected at all times. To get to the nursery: exit the sanctuary through the rear doors, go left, and proceed to the end of the hall. If there is no nursery attendant, notify the head usher who will make arrangements.
What is Sunday School like?
There are Sunday School opportunities for everyone of every age. We use many different curriculums. Each Sunday School Class has at least two teachers present at all times.
Is there a Youth Group?
Yes! Trinity has a very active Youth Group. Visit the Youth section of our website to learn more.
Is the church handicapped accessible?
Yes. Use the ramp near the main parking lot.
