Weekday Ministries
Children
Promiseland, the mid-week children’s ministry (Grade 1 – Grade 6) begins on September 17 at 6: 15. This year we are going to be teaching a different set of lessons beginning with the “7 C’s of History”. In this series of lessons, the children will learn about creation and God’s wonderful plan of salvation revealed through Adam and Eve, the flood, Babel, Christ, the cross and the ultimate consummation – Heaven. Additionally, we will have many games, activities, songs, snacks and a host of seasonal events.
Parents, possibly the most important extracurricular activity that your children can be involved in, is the mid-week Children’s ministry. Unfortunately, the majority of our Church’s children are not in Sunday School and this will provide both a much needed spiritual and social positive influence. You may not have children in this age group, but do you know children who can benefit from this ministry? Bring them – you will do them good!
God has blest us with our three Small Group leaders and now we need several other volunteers to assist in this weekly Children’s Ministry. Please contact the Church office if you are available; even on a staggered weekly schedule to assist in this most important ministry. We also need some men with carpentry skill to help us make “carnival-type games.” We have the ideas and now we need the man power.
