On
Sunday, November 8th, we celebrated 245 years since the founding of
our church. Happy Birthday, BCW! Special thanks to Judy Ferrara for
all her hard work--finding the caterers, organizing the dinner. We
couldn't have done it without you! Thanks also to Matt Ferrara, Wanda Gilbert, Barbara Keegan, and Rick Irish. Pictures taken by Jessica Massotti can be found under "Church Events" tab, found in the column on the left.
Thanks to everyone who has attended our Movie Nights. We hope to continue them in the spring.
We welcome pastor intern Tonia Petty into our congretation. Tonia is a Field Ed Student from Andover Newton Theological School and will be among us through the end of the school year. As
part of her pastoral student training, Tonia will be leading a Covenant
Group, to meet on Sundays, from 11:30am till noon, starting September 27th. The topic will be "Christian Practices." Please help us be good hosts

Pennies For Children in Poverty continues. Remember, EVERYONE can help us do our part in raising 14 million pennies nationwide. This represents the number of children living in poverty in the US & Puerto Rico! So, gather your coins and make sure you bring them to church.
We
thank Community Connections 2009 for painting our Vestry. Community
Connections members are students from Roger Williams University's
community outreach program. (Click the pic for a larger view.) Thanks
to everyone who donated supplies.

Volunteers
are needed for coffee hour, for Sunday Morning Worship service ushers,
and Nursery Caregivers (during service). The sign-up sheets are located
in the Vestry.

Sunday Morning Worship begins at 10am. As a courtesy to others, please
