Traditional Rule of St. Benedict

The original rule of St. Benedict contains everything that is needed to build a strong and stable monastic community. It is important to have an understanding of the Rule as written by St. Benedict himself, even if some of it needs to be amended for the modern world.

Contemporary Rule of St. Benedict

This Contemporary Rule was adapted by the White Robed Monks of St. Benedict and is no less inspired than the tradional Rule of St. Benedict. This is here as it is important to also have an understanding of how the Rule can be applied to the modern world and still help us to live a blessed, consecrated life.
