JESUS IS WONDERFUL!!!

Joy Community Fellowship

309 Canton Avenue
Hot Springs, SD  57747

Spring Time Photo Below

This wonderful building was purchased in May of 2003.  The garage was renovated by mission teams and members as living quarters for the Pastor Bill and Pat.  Thus serving both as church and a residence.

Terry DeRouchey teachers our Adult Bible Study.  This class usually runs 10 to 12 in attendance.  There is always a hot pot of coffee going and some hot water for tea with a few sweets for those needing to satisfy some appetite.

The Joy Community Fellowship

 is looking for committed

II Corinthians 8:5 Christians.

The Joy Community Fellowship is seeking those who would first give themselves to the Lord and then to one another. We are a young, yet Bible-centered mission seeking growth through a committed, caring and compassionate people called of God to develop a soul-winning and disciple-growing family of faith. If you are looking for a church seriously committed to Christ, we invite you to visit with us. We are not everyone’s church but we may be the church God would direct you to join and become actively involved.

 ABIDING IN THE VINE

John 15:5-8

These verses sum up the essence of what we believe should be experienced in the Christian Life. You will never know that Jesus is all you need until you discover that He is all you have.  The only thing you will take with you into eternity is your relationship with Jesus Christ.  We need to love Him above all else.  We must put on Christ, clothing ourselves in Him and experience Him fully.  When our time on earth has ended and He calls our name that transition should be like our very next breath.

Additional Thought on Christian Maturity

Balance in all areas ministry develops healthy Church growth.

Growing together as a new congregation of believers is impossible without commitment.  Fellowships and hospitality are always needed to develop the deep friendships necessary to minister together as the body of Christ. Praise, worship, music and the message communicate the heart of Christian love and adoration. These open up ministry opportunities where each Christian can begin to share the gospel message. Bible book studies along with the core doctrinal teachings of the word keep us solidly grounded in the Biblical truths.

Commitment to one another grows a committed church.
