Mission Statement

The Joy Community Fellowship exists to love God and our neighbor by fulfilling the Great Commission as stated in Matthew 28:19-20.

We are a mission church affiliated with the Black Hills Area Baptist Association, Dakota Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention. Our membership is held by the Black Hills Baptist Church of Whitewood, South Dakota.

We subscribe to the doctrinal statement of The Baptist Faith and Message as recently adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention.

The Joy Community Fellowship is located at 309 Canton Avenue. To find us go to Canton Avenue between Lynn's Dakotamart and Dakota Hills Reality and proceed three blocks toward the mountain. We meet in the red brick building on the left. We have a parking lot in the rear of the building and we also have good street parking.

We are on mission with God and so we want to please God in our attitude, witness, mission, ministry, fellowship and in discipleship. It is our abiding relationship with Jesus the Vine that will prove that we are truly his disciples and produce fruit to the glory of God. If God wants you here with us you will not truly fit anywhere else. Our Lord Jesus adds to His body and builds His church. You will not know whether or not we are the church for you until you hear from Him so come out and pay us a visit. We need good beleivers to join the work of the harvest with us.
