A Bible Story, Memory verse, Missionary story, games and good times are in store for children K-6 grade at the Good News Club. The Good News Club is held each Tuesday from 4PM to 5PM in the Elementary School Music Room and is sponsored by the Joy Community Fellowship. Pat Martin does most of the preparation and some teaching. John Morgan is there to teach and coordinate the activities. The Good News Club is held in the Fall and Winter months for sixteen weeks up until April. If you are interested in your child participating with us give us a call at 745-5692.

RADIO MINISTRY

A CLOSER LOOK

Radio is still a good ministry alternative for many churches. For the past four plus years the Joy Community Fellowship SBC has extended its ministry through radio on KCSR 610 AM out of Chadron, Nebraska. Our Program, A Closer Look, is heard each Sunday morning at 7:30 AM. This half hour program with Pastor Bill Martin reaches into the tri-state area. The message featured each week is usually taken from the sermon preached the previous week at the Joy Community Fellowship. Most messages are expository and strong in Biblical content and teaching. Many of our guest and a few of our members came to know us first through radio. Tune in for a listen and then turn out for a visit with us. God is Good!!!

JAIL MINISTRY

People commit crimes, go to jail and the reason vary but the fact is all people are sinners. Jail ministry has been personally rewarding. You audience is captive and looking for something better or someone better to talk too. Jesus said, "I was sick and in prison and you came to visit me." Have you visited where Christ is working in a jail. Many in jail want better and want someone to talk with. Jail can be a lonely place but jail can be a place of redemption. We have seen many open their hearts to the savior. Jail ministry can be a good place to polish up you witness or exercise the gift of evangelism. Jesus would challenge many of you reading this to come out for a visit and see if he's there working. Our jail ministry time is 3:15PM on Sundays at the Fall River County Jail.
