American Heritage Girls, Troop 131
American Heritage Girls is an alternative scouting organization for girls in grades K-12. AHG began in Cincinnati in 1995 and is rapidly spreading across the United States. The mission of AHG is to build women of integrity through service to God, family, community, and country. To read more about the organization, please visit the website at www.ahgonline.org.

American Heritage Girls Troop 131, chartered by First Christian Church in 2003, is the first troop in the state of Tennessee. The troop meets the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month, September through May, at 3:30 p.m. at the church. Meetings begin with the Pledge of Allegiance, recitation of the AHG oath and creed, prayer, and devotions. Our troop is currently structured into eight age-level groups, ranging from grades K-12 grade. For more information please contact Sarah Small at 681-8423 or shc.small@gmail.com.
