Kids Klub Each week on Wednesday Nights, at 7:00 pm, Lakemoore holds "Kids Klub' out in the Children's Church. Fun learning and great activities fill the evening. The Church Van normally runs and all children are welcome to attend. Make it your place to be every Wednesday Night!

More than ten years ago, several women attending Lakemoore Church realized the need for a women’s group. Times, dates and locations were discussed until an agreement was reached and the meetings began. The purpose of the group was, and IS to help our church in any way possible - not just the building, but, more important, the people in it. The first major project was the church kitchen. It didn’t look as it does now. Cora Clark suggested a fundraiser and it was successful. We acquired new stoves, new refrigerators, new flooring, a dishwasher, a ceiling light and fan and many “household” items - all paid for in full by frying apple pies. Everything was homemade, including the apple filling, and Lakemoore Church’s Willing Hands gained a reputation for honesty and quality. This is important for any group representing it’s church in the community. We knew our church needed more than a nice kitchen and we would need more funds to help it. Suggestions were submitted and thus started our 50’s party, Hillbilly party and Fall Harvest Festival which are held yearly and are lots of fun. Another suggestion was offered, discussed and expanded upon and Lakemoore’s Dickens’ Christmas was born. Dickens’ Christmas 2008 will be our thirteenth year for this fundraiser. It includes unique stores and wonderful meals all in our Fellowship Hall. This event raises most of the money we use for the benefit of Lakemoore Church ministries and to minister to the needy of the community. We don’t keep any of it. The first couple of years, Willing Hands donated the majority of the proceeds to our church mortgage. After the mortgage was paid off, we started using the funds for other things in the church: new carpeting and linoleum for the Fellowship Hall, all new cabinets and countertops for the kitchen, an ice machine (a necessity during church dinners and other events), two new stoves - after five years of Dickens, the others gave out - and so on. We also use the proceeds to provide food baskets (actually large boxes), gifts and clothing at Christmas, financial aid to those in need and to send flowers or small gifts to cheer up the ladies in our church. We do continue to fry apple pies and often donate the proceeds to other groups within our church, such as the Children’s Ministry. We enjoy fellowshipping with each other and for the past several years have held a Ladies’ Retreat for the women of our church, and their friends, in Pigeon Forge - at a small cost to each participant. Our love and support for each other, our church and God grows constantly. We know we owe our successes to God and give thanks to Him before all else.
WILLiNG HANDS meets the first Monday of each month unless there’s a holiday, in which case it’s rescheduled -in the Fellowship Hall of our church at 7:00PM. Our usual meeting consists of prayer, a devotion, old business and new business. We periodically have guest speakers and occasionally a light snack. If you are not yet attending our meetings, please come - we’d love to have you there!

Men's Ministry This wonderful ministry brings the men of our Church together to fellowship, to do work projects, servant evangelism and discuss ways to improve our church. If you are interested in joining this much needed ministry, Please just ask the Pastor.

Transportation Ministry
We provide transportation Sunday morning, evening, and Wednesdays for Kids Klub. Please call the church for further details at 587-2176 or Isom Fields at 423-586-7498.
Our two church vans pick up passengers on Sunday mornings on several routes in Morristown. Please let everyone know that needs a ride!
