The Rt. Rev'd John C. Bauerschmidt, 11th Bishop of Tennessee

John Bauerschmidt is the 11th Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Tennessee where he oversees 49 congregations in and around Nashville and as far east as Sewanee Mountain.  Bishop Bauerschmidt visits St. Agnes' once per year.  He also holds several leadership positions in our area, namely The University of the South, St. Andrew's-Sewanee School, St. Mary's Retreat Center, and DuBose Conference Center.

The Rev'd Eugene Wise, Priest & Celebrant

Father Gene Wise leads St. Agnes' with services of the Word and Sacraments and with pastoral care for our growing church family.  Fr. Wise served as rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Murfreesboro for 15 years, helping the church to grow almost threefold in membership and participation.  He is truly a blessing to people in Cowan and Murfreesboro alike!
