We Believe . . .
- the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God.
- there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God, the Father; God, the Son; and God, the Holy Spirit.
- in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ; in His virgin birth; in His bodily resurrection; in His ascension to the right hand of the Father; and His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years.
- the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.
- the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer.
- that the baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:1-4 and Luke 11:9-13, is given to believers who ask for it.
- in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, and that by His indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.
- in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.
- that the ordinance of Baptism by immersion in water (Matthew 38:19) shall be administered to all those who have repented of their sins and who have believed on the Lord Jesus Christ to the saving of their souls, and who give clear evidence of their salvation (Romans 6:3-5, Colossians 2:12).
- the ordinance of the Lord's Supper shall be observed periodically as enjoined by the scriptures (Luke 22:19-20, I Corinthians 11:23-26).
