An Interdenominational Church, called Father's House...
Pastor Steve & Cammie Trexler pioneered Father's House Church on Sept. 9, 2001. Father's House was started completely by faith, not knowing for sure who was going to attend. During the 1st year of the Church, Pastor Steve announced during a message on faith, that God would give us our own land and building within 2 years of the ministry. The 1st Sunday in Oct. 2003, Father's House enjoyed their first service in their new Chapel. With very little advertising Father's House continues to grow by the leading of the Holy Spirit to this day.
God planted the vision for a conservative charismatic Church in the heart of Pastor Steve several years before the Church started. Pastor Steve witnessed 1st hand the excesses in many of our Charismatic Churches. Pastor Steve desires to have a Spirit-Filled Church where the Holy Spirit is free to move; but at the same time being careful not to allow any type of foolishness or fanaticisms in the Church.
Conservative, meaning we believe in the Gifts of Holy Spirit, but we are careful not to run after every wind of doctrine. Sticking to the Word of God as the foundation for everything we stand on.
Pastor Steve has an extremely balanced education. He graduated from Union University in 1988 with a BS in Business. He graduated from RHEMA Bible Training Center in 1997 in the Pastor's Program. He graduated with Master's in Theology from Jacksonville Theological Seminary and hopes to finish his Doctorate as time allows.
Cammie is a tremendous asset to the ministry as well. Cammie is an accomplished teacher. She teaches on Wed. Nights on parenting or other topics. Cammie attended one year at RHEMA.
Steve & Cammie understand that denominations are not in heaven and making Jesus Christ Lord of our Life is the most important decision anyone could ever make. Steve & Cammie have a heart for God, for people and to see spiritually strong healthy families growing in the Lord.
