Walnut Hill Presbyterian Church

Bristol, Tennessee/Virginia

What to Expect

Everything you need to know for your first visit!

Casual Atmosphere

When you visit Walnut Hill, wear whatever you want to wear. We have a very broad variety of dress styles, so you won't feel out of place unless, of course, you come wearing formal evening wear or a masquerade costume.

 Friendly People

One of the most common things we hear from visitors is how warm our church family is and how welcome our guests were made to feel. We strive to maintain   a friendly, comfortable environment. We won't make you wear a visitor badge, stand up, or stand out in any way. We just want you to feel at home.

 Family Environment

We believe families are important to God, so they are important to us.

Children are welcome to participate during our services. You may notice that some even take part!  This is intentional.  Their participation grows out of a biblical tradition and a conviction that children are members of God’s covenant community.

But we also have exciting programs for kids, including:

  • a clean and safe nursery for birth through 3 years.
  • Children’s Church for kids ages 3 years – thru - 2nd Grade.

A Place For Your Kids

Your children, no matter their age, will have opportunity to take part in fun-filled age-appropriate activities designed just for them. These children's activities include Children’s Church, Kid’s Quest, Pioneer Clubs, VBS, choirs, classes, and trips. Some are high-energy experiences that may include games, toys, prizes, multimedia, and a caring staff!

Your kids will beg you to come back each week!
