We, the Body of Christ that meets at Bethel Baptist Church of Townsend,
Tennessee, covenant together to love God and love others.
And
you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your
soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this:
Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.Mark
12:30-31
By faith, the members of Bethel Baptist Church will express their love
for God and others through evangelism, discipleship, worship, fellowship
and service according to Acts 2:42-47.
We believe that as we do that, Bethel will lead the lost to saving faith
in Jesus Christ (Acts 1:8), edify the Body of Christ (Ephesians 4:16),
and bring God glory. (1 Corinthians 10:31) |
