John Ray was raised in Nashville until age 13, then his family moved to Lebanon where he lived until age 30. He was married to Arjana in 2003 and does not yet have any children. He currently works as Band Director at Springfield High School. John received his Bachelors of Music in Church Music from Belmont University, a license to teach instrumental music and a Master's in Education from Cumberland University. He has served in churches in the middle Tennessee area since 1993. John has been the Minister of Music at Ebenezer since July 2005.
