Faith UMC has been meeting in Oakland since June 2001. In fact, we just recently celebrated our 5th anniversary! We currently meet in a storefront location in Oak Place Center, but we will soon begin building right next to the Oakland Deposit Bank on Hwy. 64, and if all goes as hoped, we will have our new building ready by Christmas! God has truly blessed us with tremendous growth, and we pray that as we construct our new building, we will continue to grow and witness to the Oakland and Fayette County area. 

We are a diverse group of children, youth, young adults, families, older adults, married and single who meet every Sunday morning at 10:00 for study, and 11:00 for worship. We are striving to be a faithful church and a spiritual home for many in Oakland and Fayette County. We are building our church on our commitment to love God with all our hearts, to love our neighbors as ourselves, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ, and to build the body of Christ through Bible Study, Christian conversation and fellowship.
