On April 17, 1941 employed women of the church found the Wesleyan Service Guild. The Guild was a very active part of the Women's Society of Christian Service. The Guild later joined the Ruth Study Group.

In December, 2007 the Ruth-Guild study group enjoyed a joint Christmas party with the Stellar class.
