Scholarships for children of Amatitan, Nicaragua, have been provided annually since the 2000 school year. The children are part of the church and community of the Fountain of Life Church in Anatitan. Approximately 150 students each year are able to continue their educations due to the assistance of these scholarships that have been provided by members of First UMC and friends of the church and community. These scholarships are making better the lives of the students, their families, their community, and their country.
