Beautiful Star of Bethlehem, shine on, shine on.
She was a woman of grace and charm, who wore the beauty of her youth with the dignity of her years. She brightened the rooms and lives she entered just as the star of Bethlehem she sang about. She was a teacher and musician who spent her life surrounded by children and their music. She loved to sing, and to play for the children and listen to them sing. She spent her final years away from us and the children she loved, forced by age and health into retirement apartments and nursing homes where the sound of singing, children or adult, is all too rarely heard. To help us take the sound of music and company to places like these where it is sorely needed and to help us spread Christmas carols to those who can't come to the church to hear them, this keyboard and stand are dedicated to the worship and service of God and to the memory of Dell Walker.
