Homestead United Methodist Church is located in Crossville Tennessee in a triangle of land in-between Deep Draw Road and Highway 68.  The Church is located in at a fork in the road. Similarly, as people we face may choices in direction. As a community of faith we love, support and encourage one another in making these difficult decisions. We all need a community like that. Scripture for the Week

"My friends, if any one is detected in a transgression, you who have received the Spirit should restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness. Take care that you yourselves are not tempted. Bear one another's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill, the law of Christ."

 Galatians 6:1-2

PRAYER FOR JULY 2008

God of stength and power, enable us to live in such a way that we do not harm those whom you love and hold precious. For it is our deep desire to live in ways that are pleasing to you, healing and helpful to our neighbor, transforming for the world, and fulfilling for ourselves. Once again we offer our lives and our prayers to you in the name and spirit of Jesus. Amen.
